shauna also asked to see my desk at work. so this is it. i still have the picture that i took from our hotel room in chicago towards lake michigan on my desktop. i like my office. it's bright, high ceilings and it has a nice atmosphere to it. there's also a lot of art to look at and no headache-neon-lights.. this is my main computer you're looking at and when i do graphic-design-jobs i usually sit on the other side at the mac.

monica wanted to see my favorite shoes. i have to say that would still be these ones. and i really haven't bought any i'm as happy with since then. also - my very first gift from C was actually a copy of a sade-cd a friend had made for him. and then the first "real" gift was my christmas-gift 2000. still probably the one i love the most. "ME" - that's what we called him and he's the one watching over me while C's not here. the dolphin in the back is a gift from C as well.. ;o)

sannie asked me about the view from my window. so i took a couple pics last night from the balcony. i'll try and take some of the building and view in the daylight on the weekend. 'cause as sad as it is - it's usually dark when i get home in the evening..

ute wants pictures of me and my man. the thing is, C is not a big fan of taking pictures and he doesn't like his pix posted online. and i respect that so what you got yesterday and maybe in the gallery is pretty much what you'll get..

i picked up the photos yesterday and already started to scan a few. i don't know if i will manage to upload them all today but if i don't i'm gonna try and do it on the weekend from home.

yesterday i just couldn't get up when the alarm went off so i called and took the morning off. i slept 'til 12:30 and could have probably slept more. i guess i was tired.. so i only worked half the day yesterday and fortunately got most of the work done so i can relax a little bit today. i talked to sannie wednesday night and then to shauna last night taking full advantage of the FREE calling deal. if that turns out to be a hoax i'm screwed ;o) i also got my apartment fairly clean over the last couple of nights. i'm still adjusting to the time and to the fact that i'm here in the first place. it's nice to be back but it sucks to be alone again. that's how it always is the first few weeks after i'm back. i get used to being around C so fast because it feels so natural and just right. so being back here, having nothing but phone-talks all of a sudden again is like a punch in the stomach several times every single day.. but i know i'll survive - again.

nina & ben are moving tomorrow so that'll be a busy day and i hope to get and talk to my brother maybe tonight. when i got back i found out that he had gotten himself an apartment while i was gone. he's just being an idiot right now and i'm worried i can't get him to understand that he is and that he's gonna end up trowing away his marriage for no real reason. i'm not gonna get into that any deeper since it's not my business really but it's something i do worry about and have to deal with because i love both, michi and my brother, and i wish they would work things out.. after all, this is pretty much the family that's left and it's about the break apart.. well, i'm gonna get back to work now and try and upload those pictures for you - take care everyone ;o)
