canada, mimi, rob - we're coming
i talked to miriam last night (my friend who moved to canada to live with her bf rob) and he got off the weekend we talked about maybe getting together. JAY! so that means we will meet "in the middle" between FW and toronto - in windsor, canada. my first trip to canada! i already found a nice studio for the four of us for round about 90$/night. we'd have a kitchenette and a "living room" which will be nice with four people. we could cook and pre-party in the hotel.. we're gonna stay only one night because miriam has to work on the 17th. if they'd leave that evening, they wouldn't get to windsor until around 11 p.m. so we're gonna save the money for the hotel-room that night and just leave early on the 18th to meet for brunch. that way we'll have saturday and sunday pretty much all day. i'm so exhited! the last time i saw her was in june, before she left bamberg and C hasn't seen her in probably three years.. so i'm now waiting for him to give me the go because he wasn't sure if we're allowed to take the rental car into canada. otherwise we'd probably have to meet in detroit instead, but windsor is supposed to be really cute and definetely less expensive - and i've never been to canada before ;o)

tonight is the bridget-jones-night at the movie theatre. it starts at 8 p.m. with the first movie and the second one right afterwards. i am kinda tired now but really looking forward to that and i'm sure i'll be fine once we're there. i am pretty busy at work as i only have 7 workdays left (JAY!) and there's a lot to be done before i leave. i went to the city real quick during my lunch-break and saw the "weihnachtsmarkt" for the first time this year. even though the weather sucks (it's raining) the atmosphere is great as always. the lights and the smell.. totally christmassy. i think i'm ready now and actually looking forward to all the cheesy, kitchy x-mas stuff all over the place. happy season ;o)
