i am now looking for a hotel in chicago. i've been trying on priceline the last couple of days but for some reason no hotel wants to give me a room for 30$/night ;o) i guess i might have to go up with the price a little bit. and then there's always hotwire and they have great deals in the o'hare-airport-area as well. we'd like to have a hotel there again because they usually don't charge for parking and have an airport-shuttle. that way we can just take the subway downtown which is nicer than the car, i think. so we'll most likely stay until monday night to have some time in chicago before we go back "home". i'm really excited about seeing the family, too. his grandma moved into her new house in april and i've only seen pictures so far. and all the nephews are a year older again and they are all so cute. you know how i just love kids. especially when they speak english. i'm pretty used to it but i still think it's the cutest ;o) and then one of C's cousins is gonna have another baby around thanksgiving. so that'll be tiny when i'm there.. i'm trying to figure out little things to get for everyone. but since C will have to work the week before christmas eve, i'll have time to maybe make a few things then. or bake or something.. i just don't have a whole lot of money for gifts, but i'd still like to bring a few little things. so we'll see. EXCITING!

okay, i really have to go now. as i said i'll probably pick up the halloween-pix tonight after work and i think i will find the time and post 'em tomorrow. might just stay at the agency a little longer. oh, and one more thing: the DV-2006-application-period starts tomorrow and i will certainly participate. even though i plan on having a visa because i'm married to a US-citizen by 2006, but you never know.. ;o)
