i slept in on saturday and then started to "prepare" the apartment for the "big event".
i was also waiting for maren to get home because i needed her car for a little more grocery shopping.. then i spent pretty much all day cleaning and decorating, doing laundry (dude, i did three loads. i'm only ONE PERSON. i guess i must have not done laundry in ages..) and preparing food. to be honest, the preparing-food-part was pretty much limited to baking a chocolate-cake from a box and cutting up 15 kiwis for the punch to let 'em soak in wodka for a few hours.. but i'm sure everyone else was actually preparing some food at that time ;o) around 7.30 p.m. pia & co. from duesseldorf & cologne came over and we all dressed up together. i dressed all black, put on what i thought was witch-suitable make-up and decorated myself with plastic-rats and a couple of those tattoos you can wash off. then maren sprayed my hair. well, it definetely was orange. people kept telling me all night how good my hair looked orange. seriously. so i'm thinking about dyeing it now - just don't know if C would a) recognize me and b) take me home with him then.. i'm gonna take in the film today so hopefully by wednesday i'll be able to post a few pics - and then you can see yourself..

the party was fun. we had so much jummy food and also way too much to drink. so all the worrying was needless, of course. but i think there's nothing worse than not enought to drink at a party.. so i had bought two boxes of beer and i think that's about what i still have on the balcony now.. we had two kinds of punches. a green one with blue curacao, wodka, kiwis, orange juice, champagne and wine. and a red one with cherries that someone else made so i don't know exactly what was in it.. then jello-shots, strawberry-limes and bailey's. and beer, wine, champagne, soda, water and juice of course. everyone was dressed up and we had a great time. we danced in the living room to old 80ies-songs and even the cat seemed to have some sort of fun - at least the whole thing didn't seem to really bother her ;o) i think the last guests left right around 4 a.m. - just before i took my shower. i had to wash my hair three times to get all the orange out and i was more than ready for bed once i was done. i didn't sleep that long on sunday and the place looked and smelled like... you don't even wanna know. too bad i didn't take any pictures of that. so i cleaned hungover as i was. it took me almost all day because i basically cleaned for half an hour and then took a two-hour-break.... i felt better later on after maren, tim & i had ordered pizza - which was pretty much what i had wanted since i first woke up ;o) nothing better when you're hungover. well, maybe burger king but i would have had to leave the house for that so it really wasn't an option..

i'm still a little tired and sore today. i had an appointment with a beautician (what a weird word but that's what the dictionary tells me - is there a better and more common one? sounds kinda... anyway) this morning which was AWESOME. it was a special-trial-price and she didn't do the whole treatment. but even the short massage was so amazing that i got a "real" appointment for the first week in december - just a few days before take-off ;o) i haven't done that in such a long time and i can't wait. the last time was years ago before "my" beautician got married and moved to australia... oh well, now i'm basically waiting for 6 o'clock so i can go home and relax some more. i think we've talked about that before but i can't believe how one party-night takes me out for days. am i that old? i hope you all had a good halloween-weekend as well.
and i can't believe it's november already.......
