so this is what you see when you first come into the apt.
the bathroom is right to the left (you can't see that on the picture), the first door on the left you can see a bit of is the kitchen. don't mind the ladder and crap - it's not done yet. but i love my new containers for shoes (the green on the wall).. the door straight is the bedroom and at the end to the right is the living room.

now this is the bathroom. it's not big but - believe it or not - bigger than the old one ;o) you see a little bit of the washing-machine in the bottom right corner and - tadaaaaaa - i have a window!! (baby, recognize the cheesy dolphin-lights you gave me? ;o))

this is what you see when you first look into the kitchen. it's the bench & table i bought on bremen.de. you can actually open up the seats and put stuff in it. and believe me - they're already full with crap.

this is straight from the door looking into the kitchen. you can see part of the cabinets and the dishwasher i bought on ebay to the left and - jeah, you're probably asking yourself what's up with the yellow "band" on top of the wall - we left that there because we didn't feel like painting the ceiling and that way you don't see how big the difference of the tone of white from the walls compared to the ceiling is. not exactly my choice of decorating the wall but... you know, i can live with it ;o)

now - this is the rest of the kitchen. stove, dishwasher (!) and fridge. the microwave is supposed to go up on the wall, but i'm gonna probably have my brother do that. that's a bit too heavy for me ;o) but then i'll have more space to work on when i cook and all.. see up on the fan over the stove is the box of my "i heart chicago"-mug ;o)

this is what you see when you open the bedroom-door. not pretty, but this is the room i put all the tools in and everything i don't have a place for yet. it's getting there..

now there's my bed. way too big for me alone, don't you think? ;o)
but at least ME is watching..

the desk. desks are supposed to be a mess. and mine is no exception.
(there's the jaeger-truck on the shelf i got you on the flea-market last summer, C) ;o)

left from the balcony-door. 8:45 last night and my roommate "speedy" on her favorite chair in the house..

that's across from the picture above. unfortunately i didn't get a coffee-table so this self-made-thing will have to do for a while.. the couch and rug are from my mom and i luv me new pillow that looks like a comma with eyes. (some people say it looks like a sperm, but i don't think so..) it squeaks when you squeeze it, too. i got it from the children's department at IKEA ;o)

and this is the hallway from the livingroom/bedroom corner. the kitchen is the door on the right and the next door you see is the absolutely invaluable closet for stuff, you know? there's one in the kitchen as well and i love 'em!!

so what do you think? i like it although there's definetely something missing to make it just perfect - and that would be C! talking of.. we kinda talked more precisely about christmas last night. as flights get more expensive after december 9th i'll probably fly on that day and stay until january 7th or 8th. i don't know when i'll get the final OK to book, but i hope that'll come soon and then i'll have a date to count down to! i already told my bosses ;o) and before that there's my halloween-housewarming-party on the 30th and carmen just sent me an email the other day that even though they are in spain right now because she found a job there, she wants to come in october and maybe for the party! that'd be awesome. and who else wants to come? hm?
