i bought the coolest shoes EVER yesterday! i'm sure you know how when you see shoes you just love but they are too expensive you still, every time you get near the store go in, try 'em on and walk around in the store pretending they were yours? well, with these shoes that's what i did in november or so. i needed boots, black boots and these were just perfect. kinda dressy and not too high to be uncomfortable. the only thing uncomfortable was the price -- 80 euro -- which was and still ist too much for me for shoes. so i bought different boots in the fall for half the price. nice ones, too, but not as cool and a little less comfortable because of the high heel! now, i was kinda looking around in shoe-stores last week like women do and went into that store as well. the funny thing is that they don't even have boots displayed any more. you can buy flip-flops and slippers and all kinds of summer shoes but no boots. anyway -- i asked the guy if they still had boots on sale and he said they were all put away in the back already but also asked which ones i was looking for. so i described "them perfect boots" and he went back to check. there was actually one pair left, but not my size. he brought them out though to check if those were really the ones i was looking for and i saw this bright orange sign saying "sale -- 50 euro" on the box!!! so i made him call all the other stores of that chain in germany and check if either one still had my size. and you probably won't be surprised because at the start of this post i told you i bought cool new boots, so -- they had them in hamburg and sent them over! JAY! and now i'm wearing them and they are perfect and so comfortable! and i'm all happy ;o) 
since there's so much to do at work right now i totally need things that make me happy. or smile - like sarah b. always manages to do! oh, and this ... today is friday, which is another good thing about today. but we just had a meeting with the "fairplayer"-guys and that totally ended up with a huge list of "to do's" for me so i already know that the next few weeks won't be any better then this week. and -- there's no vacation to look forward to anywhere near. like betti's going to borneo with marc for three weeks sometime in april-may. and most of my friend's have planned their summer vacation already. and me -- don't know. i just hope that chris will come some time soon and be here in the summer. then we'd spent my vacation together and i wouldn't even care where. maybe a road-trip to some place in germany, denmark, sweden, italy or whatever. or just to a lake around the corner. or even my balcony. as long as i'm with him again ... *sigh*
