this baby is ten years old now! my mom and dad gave it to me for my 16th b-day (i still had mom & dad then) and the frame number is my date of birth - 07021977 - pretty cool, hm?

and now me and my "baby" (i usually look a lot more friendly - it's just kinda difficult to take a picture of yourself & an item like a bike you want to show on the picture as well - sorry - and the one in the background is betti's fairly new bike. it's a nice one as well ...) - anyways - me and my bicycle ...

... which takes me all the way to work every day no matter how the weather is (like it would have a choice ..)! but i love you, bike ;o) i just realized that my bike doesn't have a name .. i have to call it "bike", isn't that kinda lame? so if one of you happens to have a great idea for a bike name - drop me a line.

should go back to work now. just before i forget - it's freakin' cold in germany. i even wore a scarf on the bike (my sweety you just met) for the first time since last winter this morning. 3° C - that's what they said on the radio ... brrrr! wanna move to a warmer place! soon! need sun! lots of it!!!
