okay now, drama's over and the drama-queen (that would be me) is back on the face of the earth ... meaning - things have changed since the last entry. i was really doing bad and started a different blog, since i needed something less public than this. but now that things are back to normal you can just go there, if you wanna know what's happened ... and how much of a drama-queen i can be ;o) now, last weekend was our all-girls-trip to the center parks in the bispinger heide, just about an hour away from here. we were 8 girls and had a great time. the weather was all northern-germany-like - meaning it sucked - but hey, 8 girls in one bungalow can have fun no matter what the weather's like ;o) so first night (after we got there late, had to park the cars in the parking lot and - seriously - walk almost 30 minutes to our bungalow in the rain because, i swear, we had the one bungalow that was farthest away from the freaking parking lot and after unloading the car you weren't supposed to keep it by the house. although, now that i'm thinking of it, i saw quite a few cars parked right by the houses in the middle of the night - oh well ... ) anyways - we played board games and "scharade" (a fun game for two teams where one has to explain words the other team made up just by using hands, feet and no talking - can u imagine what us weird mid-twenties-women after some red wine came up with? guys, you should truly be sorry you weren't there ... and so that first night we went to bed kinda late. saturday the weather was just as expected. so we slept late and had a nice and long breakfast-brunch-kinda-meal. then cleaning up and 8 chicks getting ready to go out - i guess we opened the door for the first time that day around 2 p.m. & went to the activities-area kinda in the middle of the park. checked out everything (spa area, tennis- & badminton-courts, games, pool-tables, bowling-lanes and the big pool-area. averything but the pool-area did cost extra. and most of it was booked out anyway. so we got a bowling-lane for 2 hours from 10 to midnight, went home to get our stuff and spent the rest of the afternoon in the pool-area. that was really kinda cool. they had waves in the big indoor-pool, an outdoor-pool with a "wildwater-slide" and about four other slides inside. so we had a good time acting like teens, giggling, getting bruises from bumping into each other or the walls of the slides and all fun stuff like that ;o) when we got home we were exhausted (i mean acting like a teen being our age ist exhausting, let me tell you ...) and after cooking (we barbequed - inside on an electric grill ... not very stylish but funktional), eating and cleaning up again we had a tough time getting up to go bowling. but since we'd payed already, we had no choice really. and it was fun. not great, awesome, unbelieveable fun - but fun. and we pretty much fell into bed without talking to each other when we got back .. we're just old ;o( sunday wasn't exciting. we kinda split up doing different things and i went back to the pool for an hour or so with pia. wasn't even close to being as much fun as the day before. nothin' new - ya know ... and after we had dinner that night maren and i had to leave already. just don't have enough vacation any more so i had to go to work on monday ... but we had a really good time all together. it's so different without men. a lot more relaxing. pj's half the day, doing fingernails, reading stupid women's magazines and just girls-stuff all day. fun, fun, fun ... whops, it's late - gotta go home now. more the next time. and pics then, too. promise ;o) xoxoxo |
