after kos, the banane-party, ddorf ...
Wow – almost a month … i guess i just don’t feel like writing alot right now. Even though compared to other times there’s a lot happening ...

Michi and i got back from "kos" (the greek island) on the 10th. It was great there ... ! although after being back for only what – like less than two weeks – it already feel like it’s been a lifetime since i was laying at the beach, reading "harry potter V", relaxing ...

That island is beautiful! People there are so friendly. Not like many people in spain or so who don’t seem to like tourists too much ... the hotel was really nice (even the food) and our room was facing north-east so it didn’t get too hot there during the day and we could see the sunset from our balcony. We had a nice pool-area and instead of the regular buffet they had a "greek night" twice while we were there. That meant BBQ outside at the pool, music and party ...

We ususally got ready after breakfast and took the mini-bus from the hotel to the beach around 10:30 am (the beach was around 800m away). We got two chairs there and a parasol and pretty much stayed there until 6 pm. Then we walked back, maybe had a beer in a tavern on the way, and got ready for dinner. And after dinner we usually went for a walk to the beach or around "town" and had a cocktail or so. It was so beautiful at the beach when it was dark. We could totally see the turkish coast and the city "bodrum" from the beach ...

One day we took a trip to "nyssiros" – a vulcano-island that used to be part of "kos" ages ago. That was a one hour boat-ride which was awesome! We had a guide there and a bus that took us to the crater of the vulcano (hot, hot ...) and later on we had a salad on a deck almost in the sea. That was really cool. The froth almost hit us a few times ...

And then we had a jeep for one day. The rental-place brought it to the hotel at 8 in the morning and we took off almost right away. And then we checked out the whole island. We had a coffee in a typical old greek village, saw peacocks, a turkey and lots of other animals, scared a few greek militaries to death ;o), layed at the "magic beach" in an area where they can’t built any hotels, saw a windmill and a typical greek house how it used to be in the middle of the century, wen’t to the port of "kos city", layed in a natural term (mineral spa) and last but not least went up in the mountains to see the coolest sunset ever! That was when we finally though we were dead and in heaven! We got back at 10.30 pm – just in time for them to pick up the car ... ;o( but that was a GREAT DAY!!!

And now i’ve been back for almost two weeks already.
I finished marc’s site -> marc-wird-30.de and we’re getting ready to send out the mailing for the new catalogue pretty soon. So there’s enough work already again!

But the first "big" thing was the 20th-anniversary-party for the agency on the 12th. It was a really nice party actually and there are a few pics here for you ;o)

Last weekend we went to duesseldorf to see pia. An "all-girls" trip with nina, betti, maren and me. That was a great time. We just kinda sat together with sandra (who i haven’t seen since paul was born) and almut from cologne and had red wine ... and on Saturday was paul’s baptism where we went to. It was so hot and he screamed pretty much the whole time, but it surely was interesting for me ... first baptism i’ve been to ...

Afterwards we went shopping and later on to the “kirmes” (a fair) at the “rhein” (big river that runs through duesseldorf) and partied until 3 am or so. We got to bed at almost five and were done!! Had a great time though ;o)

Well, now i’m gonna cook for michi and me tonight (chinese) and tomorrow i’m gonna meet frank (an old friend who organizes the wiwi-jura-parties) for a beer. And then on Saturday is the big party for marc. He traditionally has to sweep the stairs at the "dom" in the city all dressed up and then we’re gonna "party like rockstars" ;o)

Dana and lukas are in the south of germany at a "kur" to recuperate and relax. Dana’s back is pretty bad and after everything that has happened over the last months ... good thing for her and i think she’s having a good time there, too ... she’ll be back in a couple of weeks ...

Okay now – i will try and put vacation pictures up asap, but i really don’t feel like it right now ... so who ever wants to see pics has to come to bremen and i’ll show ‘em to you ;o) for now i should get back to work. Lunch break’s over ....... and remember to STAY IN TOUCH ;o)
