it was really, really great! thursday at noon the official part at the registration office. not very romantic - 7 minutes - but as i said, just the official part ... afterwards we had a glass of chmpagne and took pictures in front of the office. my brother's pant's broke while he was bending down to luke - is was hilarious! his »best man«, olli, had worked on a red cadillac for more than a year now and it looked like it was brand new - really beautiful, shiny and weddingly decorated! that was awesome! so he chauffeured the newly wed couple - mr. and mrs. fuge - to the restaurant where we had a humungous dinner and celebrated with close family/friends only until 5 in the afternoon.

then on friday at 3 p. m. it was the big time for the ceremony at church! the weather was perfect - blue sky and sun all day. michi looked awesome and i ended up crying most of the time during the ceremony because everything was so perfect (besides the fact that my mom wasn't there ...)! the choir sang amazing grace besides a couple of other songs and the pastor's speech was just perfect for the two of them ...

the reception started at 6 p.m.. michi and knut were a little late because they went to take pictures with the photographer which took a little longer. but once they were there the party started. we had champagne and everybody went to congratulate them and give them their gifts and stuff. once we all sat down my brother held a really short speech - pretty much telling everybody thank you for coming and to have a good time - and then we started dinner. very yummi!

all our games and everything we planned worked out great. every traditional thing like the dance-of-honour, the veil-dance and all the rest of it was just perfect and we partied until almost 6 in the morning! so all i can really say is - EVERYTHING WAS GREAT (even though chris wasn't there with me ...)! so michi and knut are married and our family has grown - which is a good thing considering how small it's gotten over the last 8 years ...

mr. and mrs. fuge went to SYLT for a few days now on a mini-honeymoon. i think they are gonna do the big journey later on - moneywise ... but they have the perfect weather, that's for sure!

it's been like that for a few days now! on sunday we had 20° celsius. i went for a walk wearing no jacket and tonight we're gonna go inline-skating for the first time this year ... I LOVE SPRING! probably because i dislike winter so much ...

so, the wedding-stress is over, spring is coming and if chris was here and bush hadn't started that war even though the rest of the world thinks it's stupid, things could be close to being almost perfect .....
