valentine's day without chris :o(

it's valentine's day and my baby's birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CHRIS!!! i managed to stay awake last night until midnight here in germany 'cause thats when i planned on calling. i just couldn't wait for him to open his gifts ... so i called at midnight and - he was out doing something .... MAN! okay, i went to sleep then and set the alarm for 6 a.m. to be the first one to say happy birthday. and i just couldn't sleep! i was so excited and kept waking up every hour and a half or so until it was finally six! so i called and he opened the gifts while i was on the phone and - he LOVES his portable cd-player! he told me that he'd just been looking at some the day before and was thinking about asking for one for his birthday ... hihi - so i knew that he wanted a portable cd-player before he knew himself ;o) i wish i could be there with him today and celebrate and give him all the hugs and kisses he deserves! but - i can't. he liked everything i sent him though. i made a cd for him, sent the watch my mom originally got him as a goodbye-present last year, a few pictures of the family and lukas and just little things ... i love to make presents to people i like. and him i don't just like of course - so it's even more fun!!! gotta get to work now but i can't wait to call him when i get home and see if that thing works fine and how he likes the cd ... |
