i have had my last day of work on wednesday but the studying since then hasn't really worked the way i wanted it to. thursday morning - my first day off - i had to go to the doctor because my cold that had never been all gone was back 100%. Stuffed nose, sore throat, headache and all the rest of it. so i went and told him about my finals and to subscribe me everything he could possibly think of for my immune system and to make the cold get better. so i take pills and drops and dragees all day now. the cold has gotten a little better but the biggest problem right now is that i've had a headache for three days straight now and it doesn't go away. i just woke up with that headache again this morning and i already took an aspirin before i even had my coffee ... and it's so hard to sit down and concentrate with that stupid headache!

maren's b-day party was last night and we all dressed up 80ies (pictures as soon as i have 'em on my site). it was cool and fun but i didn't really drink or anything like that. i tried to party and dance and pretend to have a good time for a while but i finally went to bed around 1am because i couldn't even focus on a conversation and the music was bothering me because of my head ... i can't imagine how it must have been for my mom having to raise three kids with a constant headache every day for like 30 years or so ... horror! i just hope it'll go away soon so i can start to really study. it's about time ...

my brother's birthday was on thursday, too and we went there friday to celebrate. it was nice, but i had a headache and we left before midnight ... oh well, poor me ;o)

have i told you before how i love sara's site and that i go there every once in a while to see what's up and new in san francisco? and now she's gonna send me a christmas cd! just because she loves christmas and she's really nice and she has a lot of christmas music. hihi! so go and check out her site - it's worth it! and maybe you'll get a cd, too ...
